DICK REEVES DESIGN
“My desire is to create the image that best represents the very personal nature of the art expressed in your recording.”
DICK REEVES
ART DIRECTOR / GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Since 1977, Dick Reeves Design has worked with internationally known recording artists, creating LP’s and CD designs for musicians and bands around the music world. “As an award winning graphic designer and Art Director, I bring a wealth of experience and talent to creating the best visual representation of your recording.”
Growing out of a concert photography business, Glory Optics, I had the opportunity to meet and develop ongoing relationships with clients across the music industry. From the early days of vinyl to compact disc along with my long time partner, John Wilson, I have created dynamic music packaging for a wide range of artists. My ability to blend music and art has combined to make award winning designs for such celebrated musicians as Carole King “The Songs of Goffin and King”, Joe Ely “Musta Notta Gotta a Lotta”, Willie Nelson and Asleep at the Wheel “Willie and the Wheel” and most recently winning the Grammy for Best Recording Package at the 58th Grammy Awards with “Still The King, Celebrating The Music of Bob Wills”.
.
“My focus is to create a stunning and memorable design, one that will capture the public’s attention.”
Music package design not only maintains the reputation and brand of the artist, it serves as a key marketing tool. I understand this and know how to translate the expression of an artist’s intent.
